Method
Differential optical absorption spectroscopy (DOAS), passive and active, for the investigation of trace gas distributions, in particular free radicals (e.g. BrO, SO2, CIO, OClO, OBrO, IO) in volcanic plumes as well as determination of SO2 emission fluxes and total emission of acidic compounds.
