Fourth Plenary Session of Heidelberg University's Sustainability Think Tank

The fourth plenary meeting of Heidelberg University's Sustainability Think Tank (STT) took place on 8 November 2024. At this important event, members of the plenum and members of the various working groups came together to discuss the first draft of the strategy paper, which was prepared by the HCE over the summer months based on the ideas submitted in the process.

Irina Merz, coordinator of the Sustainability Think Tank at Heidelberg University, presented the structure of the draft, which was then discussed in plenary. All suggestions for changes were collected. In addition, various points of content of the strategy paper were discussed. The suggestions made will now be reviewed and incorporated into the draft accordingly. The revised draft will then be made available to the STT once again before the proposal for the strategy paper is submitted to the Rectorate at the end of the year.

The plenary session showed us once again how important it is for everyone involved to share ideas and work together. We look forward to the next steps and the implementation of the measures developed and approved by the Rectorate.
