The Directorate of the Heidelberg Center for the Environment (HCE) is looking for a

Student Assistant (f/m/d) 

certified or uncertified, for 40 hours/month

to support the coordination of the Sustainability Think Tank starting immediately.

Your Responsibilities:

Content and Administrative Support:

  • Research work
  • Document management: maintenance, organization, and drafting of documents, reports, and minutes
  • Correspondence: support in communication with university members

Event Management:

  • Preparation and Coordination: assisting in the planning and organization of events, including procurement of materials and resources
  • Participant Management: support in the registration and management of participants as well as the provision of information
  • On-site Support: active assistance during the execution of events, including setting up rooms and technical equipment

Communication Work:

  • Website Maintenance: updating and maintaining our website to ensure that information and resources are always current
  • Social Media: contributing to the creation and publication of content on our social media platforms
  • Communication with Partners: supporting communication and collaboration with university members

Your Profile:

  • Enrolled students at a university or college
  • Independent, proactive, and meticulous working style
  • Organizational talent and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Basic knowledge of MS Office and administrative software
  • Proficiency in communication in German and English
