New publication from the AgroBioDiv project.
Two members of the extended HCE Board of Directors, Prof. Jale Tosun (Institute of Political Science) and Prof. Marcus Koch (Center of Organismal Studies) recently published a new article examining how a “political idea” originating in Bavaria to conserve and promote biodiversity spread throughout Germany and led to the establishment of similar initiatives in the states of Baden-Württemberg, Brandenburg, Lower Saxony, and North Rhine-Westphalia.
The study is part of the AgroBioDiv project "Ecological Varieties for Biodiversity and Climate Protection". The aim of the state program is to bundle thematic research and further develop research activities with non-academic actors.
