Zooming-in for climate action
New Publication
Different members of the Heidelberg Center for the Environment have joined forces and published this highly timely article in the journal "Climate Action".
Led by Dr. Max Jungmann, the team of researches are “zooming-in” on climate action. The researchers hypothesize that scientific and technological developments in the geophysical sciences and geoinformatics could provide the information policymakers need to put in place effective policies on climate change mitigation and to have measures to verify the effectiveness of their mitigation policies.
They find that in order to contribute to a better understanding of these developments and the requirements for effective climate action, new forms of inter-and transdisciplinary research become urgently necessary.
