Professor of Systematic Theology (Ethics) at the Theological Seminar at Heidelberg University, HCE member since 201?.
My key research interests are environmental ethics, especially issues of responsibility, its negotiations and its limitations, and the relation between politics and ethics.
Why I joined the HCE
I intended to become a member of a vivid network across all disciplines that address environmental issues at Heidelberg University. Especially for me as an ethicist, interdisciplinary cooperation is essential.

The open and fruitful atmosphere in the plenary sessions and in the extended directorate.
